If a child has had his/her birthday in the term before he/she might start at Puddle Ducks; then he/she is eligible for PATHFINDER PAYMENT for a total of 15 hours per week at the Pre-School; However if more hours are required, parents may top-up, subject to places being available.

When children start attending Nursery school, only 12.5 hours are funded in this way, but the PATHFINDER Funding can be taken flexibly across more than one setting, allowing the child to spend the additional 2.5 hrs per week at e.g Puddle Ducks if required.
